Activities by Regions_Jeju City
A lot of activities that can be experienced in Jeju City, the largest downtown area of Jeju and the location of Jeju International Airport, and a city tour bus that operates across these major attractions and historical sites. These include: Gwandeokjeong Hall and the Jejumok Gwana Government Office. In addition, you can trek: the Seongan Olle Trail, which can be enjoyed while walking around the city’s downtown area. You can also see Jeju, Dodubong Peak, famous for its rainbow bridge, and Sarabong, a famous sunrise night-time viewing spot. In addition to these, there is a wide and diverse infrastructure, such as the Jeju Healing Meditation Center, which consists of various experiential programs that take care of both mind and body.
COVID-19 Control Procedures in Place on Jeju
Jeju and Korea have taken steps to control the spread of COVID-19. These measures include changes to the island’s visa-free policy and the temporary closure of some public tourist attractions. This has contributed to a situation whereby, as of March 30, the island has only had nine cases of COVID-19. Four of these patients have since recovered. Hopefully, these steps will effectively contribute to the efforts of the global community to stop the illness.
